A delicate snowdrop with narrow, twisted leaves and relatively large, pure white flowers. The inner crown displays characteristic green patches. An early nectar source in woodland edges and borders. Thrives in cool, humus-rich, calcareous soil in partial shade. Forms slowly spreading clumps.
